Skating

Politician and activist Mel King, born in 1928 in the South End, shares memories about winter skating in Boston. Mr. King recalls learning to skate on the icy streets in his neighborhood. Soon after he and his friends found much to their delight that the ball park on Randolph Street got watered in the winter and turned into a skating rink. 
A life long Boston resident, Mr King went down to South Carolina for four years of college. Listen in on a conversation about returning to Boston during the winter holidays.
